Hi, I'm David Lieshout, a designer from the Netherlands. Trained both as a furniture maker and industrial designer, I combine skilled craftsmanship with a joy of making.

To me, every object consists of a delicate composition of form, function and future. Where it’s made from. How people use it. What it’s made of. How to manufacture it. How to make it last. In my practice and in my work for clients, I try to balance each of those aspects to create forward-thinking objects for everyday use.

Currently, I am a Lead Industrial Designer at Mepal.
